How To Install the GRE1011 Water Filter:

Twist the old filter a half-turn counterclockwise

Pull the filter straight down and discard (dont worry, the water will shut off automatically)

Fill the new filter with water (you can use the cold water faucet on your kitchen sink)

Push the new filter up into the fridge until it stops

Twist the filter a half-turn clockwise

Reset your change filter light (if your fridge has one)

Run water for 5 minutes or 2 gallons to purge the system.Sputtering may occur until air is purged from filter.

Replace every 6 months.


IMPORTANT: To reduce the risk associated with the property damage due to

Water leakage, you must read and follow installation and use instructions

before installation and use of this product. The disposable filter cartridge

should be replaced at least every 6 months.
